Despite the NFL’s emphasis on the bad rule that a receiver must hold onto the ball until the end of the action when in the end zone, referee Alberto Riveron awards a touchdown to Jaguar’s receiver Mike Sims-Walker despite the ball flying loose at the end of the play (overturning the call on the field)!
Vice-President of Officiating, Mike Pereira, later clarifies that it should have been ruled an incomplete pass. View The Video Evidence »
